Action
•Eliminates heat and toxicity
Reduces inflammation of the throat, eyes, and ears, especially effective for treating mumps. Also effective at clearing abscesses of the breast and intestines, and erysipelas.
•Relieves sores caused by heat
Used topically or internally for boils, carbuncles, and other sores or abscesses, especially on the head and back.
Usage and Dosage
10 – 30g is decocted for oral use. The pounded is for external use.
Notes Contraindicated for patients with asthenic cold of the spleen and stomach, and surgical syndromes due to yin-cold.

Keep in a dry place.
Description of Quality Herb
The good one is integrated with yellow root, purple flowers, greyish green leaves and fruits and has a slightly bitter flavour.
