Source Pyrrosia leaves are the leaves of Pyrrosia lingua (Thunb.) Farwell, P sheareri (Bak.) Ching, and P petfolosa (Christ) Ching, (Fam. Polypodiaceae.)
Producing Areas Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hubei, Hunan and Hebei, etc.

ACTION
- Promotes diuresis and relieves urinary stranguria
For stranguria of heat type and caused by urinary stone, and edema. - Clears away lung-heat, eliminates phlegm, relieves cough and asthma
For cough due to lung-heat (P. lingua and P. petiolosa), and bronchial asthma (P. petiolosa).
Cools the blood and stops bleeding - For hemoptysis and hematuria. Also used for acute and chronic dysentery as well as leukopenia.
Usage and Dosage
6–12 g is used in decoction for oral use.
Storage
Keep in a dry place and protect from mould and dust.
Note
Use with caution for person with blood deficiency and wind syndrome.
