ACTION
- Promotes diuresis to relieve edema
For edema, ascites, wet beriberi, stranguria due to heat or arising from urinary stone. - Promotes choleresis and relieves jaundice
For hepatocellular jaundice, cholelithiasis and cholecystitis. - Lowers blood pressure
For hypertension. - Lowers blood sugar level
For diabetes mellitus. - Arrests bleeding
For epistaxis, gingival bleeding. Recently, also used for thrombocytopenic purpura.
Usage and Dosage
15−60 g is used in decoction for oral use.

Keep in a cool and dry place.
