Action
- Warms the middle jiao and dries dampness
For damp and cold in the middle jiao with symptoms such as fullness, pain, and cold in the abdomen, vomiting (usually of clear fluids), loose stools or diarrhoea, low appetite, and a greasy white tongue coating.
Usage and Dosage
2 – 6g of the crude can be used. 5 – 10g is decocted for oral use. Pound it before decocting and do not decoct for too long.
Notes Contraindicated in the case with less blood due to yin-deficiency, shortness of body fluid or without cold-dampness.
Storage
Keep it in a cool dry place and protect from moisture and heat. It will bleed oil and lose fragrance after long Storage.
