Source Chinese Wolfberry Root-Bark is the dried root-bark of Lycium chinensis Mill. and Lycium barbarum L. (Fam. Solanaceae).

Action
- Clears heat from yin deficiency
For chronic fevers, night sweats, steaming bone disorder, irritability or thirst. - Clears lung heat and stops cough and wheezing
Cools the bloodFor vomiting with blood, epistaxis, and blood in the urine. - Drains floating fire in the kidney channel
For fire from deficiency causing toothache.
Usage and Dosage
6 – 15g is decocted for oral use.
Notes Use with caution in the patient with fever due to wind-cold syndrome or loose stools due to asthenic cold of the spleen and stomach.

Keep in a dry, ventilated place.
